Anal Glad Expression for Dogs
While much of caring for your dog can involves nose kisses, play and reinforcing their good behavior, there are also elements which aren't so pleasant. One common example of this is anal gland expression.
All dogs have two small pouches which collect secretions in their behind. These are usually released when your dog defecates, but some dogs (especially small or toy breeds) may have difficulty expressing this substance from their glands and may require assistance.
